The primary purpose of the consortium is to provide internship listings and opportunities to students and alumni of member institutions. Since 1997, NIC has connected thousands of hiring organizations in a many industries to a talented and diverse pool of candidates. NIC contains paid and unpaid internships, research opportunities for undergraduates, fellowships and post-BAC opportunities within one database.

If you are an employer hoping to post a listing for NIC students, you may do so here. Internships posted in NIC can be accessed by over 42,000 students enrolled at elite institutions in the United States.

The Nationwide Internships Consortium provides access to internship listings for students at all member schools. Neither the consortium nor its member schools makes recommendations regarding potential employers or student interns. Employers and students are urged to perform due diligence when offering, applying for, or accepting employment, including internships, by requesting from each other references or any other information needed to establish qualifications, credentials and overall fit between employer and applicant.
